Modalities of Treatment
Our service provides a structured and supervised live-in environment within a free-standing setting 24 hours-per-day, 7 days-per-week, and is intended for individuals who meet our placement criteria.
We serve individuals who need a safe and stable living environment to develop sufficient recovery skills for the transition to a less restrictive level of care or reintegration into the general community.
Our schedule of services provided is within a positive environment that reinforces the resident’s recovery. The treatment plans are specific to the individual, length of stay and duration of treatment is dependent upon everyone’s issues.
Individual counseling, group counseling, counseling with family members or members of the individual’s support system.
Emphasis is placed on substance-related/recovery-oriented education, such as strategies for avoiding substance use or relapse, health problems related to substance use, and motivational enhancement and strategies for achieving a substance-free lifestyle.
Life skills training such as anger management, communication skills, employability skills, problem-solving, relapse prevention, recovery training, decision-making, relationship skills, and symptom management as well as expressive therapies, such as recreation therapy, art therapy, music therapy, massage therapy, reality therapy, equine therapy, and other therapies specifically geared for those who have substance use or co-occurring conditions.
We strongly believe that Twelve-step groups are an essential part of relapse prevention and are integrated into the client’s schedules.
